Hello Precious One! 2-13-2018
Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Long-suffering, patience, forbearance is a fruit of the Spirit. This fruit avoids the premature use of retribution or force that rises out of improper use of anger (a personal or fleshly reaction). This is the ability to embrace steadfastness and endurance during tough and difficult times without outbursts of fleshly anger. It is staying-power, it is staying in the Spirit and not moved by our improper reaction of feelings in the flesh! It is being “long-tempered” as opposed to “short-tempered or ill-tempered”. It is a perseverance of staying in the Spirit and not quickly avenging wrongs. It is when our temper is not easily succumbed under suffering. It is the self-restraint which does not hastily react or retaliate to a wrong.
What this is not, is being a “wall-flower” with a sign written on one’s forehead, “abuse me because I don’t matter.” This is not this fruit of the Spirit, that is weakness of the flesh. This fruit is Spirit is also filled with Love and strength!
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is always patient; love is always kind; love is never envious or arrogant with pride. Nor is she conceited, or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.
The first thing it says is that Love is patient. Then it says that “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails.” This is the Agape, unconditional Love of God expressed to us in Christ Jesus, where Jesus bore and became all sin and punishment for all people of all time, even His enemies! I hadn’t really noticed this before, but the first description of Love is, patience which is endurance, long-suffering and perseverance.
How irritable are we? How ill-tempered? How quick are we to get angry? How steadfast are we when things are not going our way? Do we hold on to others sins and become resentful? The Truth is that if we are doing this to others, we are also doing this to ourselves.
Underneath a person’s conceited bravado, is a sense of unworthiness, insignificance and insecurity. This outward bravado, conceit and arrogance is a cover-up for the condemnation inside of their own heart! We all need a greater and greater and greater……. Revelation, of the fullness of the Love of Christ!!!!!
Patience, perseverance, long-suffering, the ability to endure all things, believe all things, hope all things, in the midst of evil and adversity is definitely a fruit of the Holy Spirit, part of the nature of God. We need help in manifesting this fruit of this Spirit. We need the active power of the Holy Spirit to live this way. We cannot just simply make a decision to live this way, all of the time. No, this is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, this fruit comes from Him. We cannot self-manufacture this. This fruit comes to us and becomes more powerful within us as we abide in the vine of the Holy Spirit.
To manifest more fruit of the Spirit, we need to abide, more and more, in the Spirit. How do we abide in the Spirit?
John 15:4-5 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
The Greek word for “abide” is “meno”. Some definitions are: to stay, to remain, to live in, to dwell in, to wait, to continue in, to endure; not to depart, not to leave, to continue to be present; to maintain unbroken fellowship; to dwell in the person of God; to be rooted in God, knitted to Him; something has established itself permanently itself within my soul, and always exerts a power within me by the Holy Spirit; to persevere and cleave to a thing or person especially when it is difficult or facing opposition; to hold fast and not let go, no matter what; to continue with someone, to last, to endure, to remain as one; to follow, to keep on with, to conform to, to stick to, to continue without fading, to bear patiently, to endure without yielding, to remain stable in a fixed position, to live in, to dwell in, to abode in, to be filled with, being in union with and one with, the opposite of being separated from, to rest in, to enjoy, participating in……
I Bless you to go deeper in this fruit of the Spirit! Being patient and long-suffering with people and even waiting for the manifestations for answers to prayer, can be difficult and we need the help of our supernatural Helper, Holy Spirit! Patience, perseverance is the fruit of the Holy Spirit, so we need His help in manifesting, His fruit! As we abide in the Spirit, as we turn the affections of our heart, on a continual basis, to Holy Spirit, we will manifest His fruit of the Spirit!!!! Holy Spirit helps us to abide as we fellowship with Him and as we pray IN the Spirit, with Him!!!!
I Bless you!!! The Bible says to “be strong IN the Lord and IN His mighty power”. This is very similar, seeing and staying IN the Lord, abiding IN His depths, not seeing ourselves outside or separated from Him! I Bless you in the power and fullness of Holy Spirit!!!!! The Bible refers to us being “In Christ” over a hundred times, so we are always abiding In Him, in the Spirit realm, but we want to abide and manifest the fullness of His fruit, on this earthly realm, as well! “Your Will be done on earth, as it is in heaven”!!!!!
I Bless you as you are patient with yourself and with others, even when it is very difficult!!!! I Bless your ability to tap into the Father’s Agape Love with power and strength!!! I Bless the supernatural “Love-muscle” to become very strong within you!!!! I Bless your temper or attitude, to not be short or ill-tempered or easily irritable!!! We all need greater and greater power and help of the Holy Spirit to live in the fullness of the Hof Holy Spirit!!! I Bless you!!!!
I BLESS YOU in all of this!!!!!!!! HOLY GHOST!!!!!!!!!
